Black Water

Persephone noticed that the living world had a wide range of emotions like desire, happiness, excitement, and love. She wanted to feel those emotions again, but she couldn’t leave the Underworld because she was controlled by Hades.

To solve this, Persephone took pieces of her own voice and used her magic to create the Sirens. They traveled to the mortal world and collected emotions for her. When the Sirens sang, humans were unable to resist the sound. Sailors followed the singing, leading to their deaths, and Persephone absorbed the emotions they felt in those final moments.

As time passed, humans began to make their own music. They did not know that every song still contained Persephone’s magic, because the Sirens’ influence continued through music.
